An 'in progress' shot of "Saanich Inlet". It's a pastel and resin on canvas -- 12" x 24". The image looks a tad dark as it's an overcast day. When the sun shines next, I'll be sure and snap a better pic. I picked up a few new pastel sticks this morning from Opus -- I love that store. On my return, I finished painting the centre trees. Next I'll do the only other large tree off to the right. The leaf-green trees and highlights will pop once I begin to apply the background colours of permanent red, which is more of a pinky orange and permanent yellow deep...
